In the market, there are three kinds of health insurance plans i.e. Health Maintenance Organizations, Preferred Provider Organizations, and Specified Benefit Plans. Let’s get to know about each on of them in details.
1. Health Maintenance Organization (HMO): You should employ a network medical provider that has contracted with the plan in every situation. Exceptions may be created for the situations wherein insurance company is not having a contract for the kind of medial provider that your main care doctor depicts you to. The exception will have to be approved by the insurance company. The exceptions are also made for emergency conditions.
